Ronnie Vineyard Contribution
Ronnie Vineyard was invited to contribute an original track to the Chicago Jaxxx milestone project from the beginning. He supplied Chitown Rundown (Original Mix), which appears as track 17 on One Hundred. The contribution was not a remix-first request and did not change from a remix into an original; the project wanted one of Ronnie's original tracks from the start.
Why One Hundred Matters
One Hundred documents four connected facts: Chicago Jaxxx invited Ronnie Vineyard to supply an original track; Chitown Rundown became track 17; earlier collaborators returned from The Usual Suspects; and new relationships—including Frankie Vega, Alavux, Jon Perx and PS11—continued into The Future of Funk. The release is therefore a milestone compilation, an original-track contribution, and a relationship-transition chapter in the SELFED MADE archive.
