SELFED MADE exists because no one succeeds entirely alone.
SELFED MADE was founded by Ronnie Vineyard as an archive, documentation project, and growing network dedicated to preserving artists, culture, ideas, and contributions that might otherwise be forgotten.
What began as a personal effort to document artists, releases, culture, and history evolved into a growing archive designed to preserve contributions that might otherwise be lost.
Built from decades of experiences, relationships, mentorships, collaborations, successes, failures, and lessons learned through music, media, and life, SELFED MADE exists to document the people behind the work and preserve the stories that shape culture.
The mission is simple:
To create a lasting record of what people have done, what they are doing, and what they may inspire others to do next.
SELFED MADE is built on the belief that every contribution matters, every story has value, and every generation leaves something behind for the next.
A Message from the Founder
Music is still the foundation of everything I do. The records come first. But over time I realized a record shouldn't disappear the moment the release campaign ends.
That's why SELFED MADE grew into something bigger than a label. Every project becomes its own living ecosystem. Panic Attack came from my own psychology and mortality. The Usual Suspects became a gritty Chicago-inspired world. The Future of Funk explored collaboration, identity, and preservation through science fiction. The themes change, but the philosophy doesn't.
I don't wait for someone to hand me a seat at the table. If the door doesn't exist, I build one. That's why there are artist pages, transmissions, trading cards, Battle Books, archives, and one day the SELFED MADE Room. They're all parts of the same system, built to give music and the people behind it a place to live.
I can't predict where technology or artificial intelligence will take music. What I can do is leave behind a body of work with context, history, and real human connections. My hope is that years from now, someone can still discover an artist, a collaboration, or a story here and understand why it mattered.
No one succeeds entirely alone. That's not just the motto of SELFED MADE. It's the reason I built it.
