Loukas Pour-Hashemi
(Louk)

UK DJ, producer, remixer, label founder, and international campaign partner.

Louk is documented here as an artist first: a respected electronic music DJ and producer with a driving sound rooted in hard trance, techno, and early hardstyle. His connection to Ronnie Vineyard later expanded through UK Promo Delivery, where artistic understanding and international campaign work met.

Artist Identity

Loukas Pour-Hashemi is professionally known as Louk. Across his career he has also produced under aliases including Hidden Identity, Lewis Gate, Boglin, Cohesive, and False Reality. He is the founder of Compulzion Records and is recognized for high-energy DJ sets and productions moving through hard trance, classic techno, and early hardstyle.

That artistic history matters to the SELFED MADE archive. Louk was never merely an outside promotional contact. He understood underground records from the position of someone who made them, played them, released them, and built his own identity inside the culture.

Ronnie Vineyard Connection

Brad Lee introduced Ronnie Vineyard to Louk during the Satisfaction chapter. That introduction developed into a long-term professional relationship that continued through The Usual Suspects and The Future of Funk.

Through UK Promo Delivery, Louk helped carry the projects into wider international DJ, radio, press, promoter, and tastemaker networks. The value was not exposure alone. It was informed exposure from an artist who understood what the records were, where they belonged, and why they mattered.
